The project consisted of the construction of the first significant improvements to the District's Water system in over 30 years. The new facilities allowed the district to lift a seven year moratorium on new water service, which is already leading to the community's economic revitalization through the redevelopment of certain blighted areas and the development of new commercial ventures. Facilities constructed include two 1,000 GPM wells, two 1.0 MG welded steel water storage reservoirs, and 32,500± L.F. of 16" and 12" transmission pipeline.
