One man can open the pump enclosure for easy maintenance
The project consisted of the construction of two wells and two well pumping plants. Each of the wells is approximately 1,200 feet deep and has a 16" diameter casing. The well pumping plants, which produce about 1,200 GPM and are equipped with a 200 HP pumping unit. As shown in the photographs, the pumping plants are housed in two-piece steel structures which roll open to allow ready access to the pumping units for maintenance, including removal of the entire pumping unit (motor, column, shaft, and pump bowls).
